The Dolls Of The World Series
The Dolls of the World Series was originally the International Series, and
began in 1980 with three dolls: #1600 Parisian Barbie®, #1601 Royal Barbie®,
and #1602 Italian Barbie®. Quickly growing in popularity, these reasonably
priced dolls introduced many people to collecting Barbie. After 20 years, the
longest running Barbie series, filled with brightly costumed dolls that offered
world culture and customs to thousands, evolved with the turn of a new
millennium, and the Dolls of the World~The Priness Collection was born.
2006 heralds the exciting introduction of the Festivals of the World
Collection™. Barbie® doll commemorates festivals and celebrations around the
globe in this beautifully costumed series.
